Frequently Asked Questions
What power supply do I need for the Radeon RX 6700 XT?
The Radeon RX 6700 XT has a TDP of 230W. A 650W power supply (80+ Gold or better) is the recommended minimum, leaving headroom for the CPU, other components, and power spikes. Higher-end CPUs may require additional wattage.
How much VRAM does the RX 6700 XT have?
Yes, 12GB is excellent for modern gaming. This provides plenty of headroom for 1440p/4K gaming, high-resolution textures, and even some content creation workloads. You won't need to worry about VRAM limitations for several years.
How does this compare to newer GPUs?
This is a previous-generation card. While still capable, newer GPUs offer better power efficiency, improved ray tracing, and updated features. However, used older-gen cards often provide excellent value per dollar for traditional rasterization performance.
What can I expect for gaming performance?
Verified gaming benchmarks are not available for this model yet.
